Windows 7 – The Launch!

Windows 7 finally launched on October 22 and yours truly had the privilege of attending the launch party/event in New York.  The privileged invitation came by way of an offering from Richard aka ‘The Windows Observer’ (@winobs on Twitter).  It was truly a pleasure to meet Richard and see the faces that we all are in awe of; the journalists, the bloggers, and the executives that control the Windows eco-system.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Marcus Schmidt at Microsoft for allowing me the opportunity to attend this event as well as the pre-launch cocktail reception.  Thank you Marcus.  (@marcusatmsft on Twitter).
