Google Voice Allows Number Changes – At a Cost

So you signed up for Google Voice after waiting for an invite, for what seemed like an eternity.  Now you feel that your number is just not what it should be and you want a different one with a different area code etc….well you can change your number.  But the privilege is not FREE.  Google is charging $10 if you want to change your number.  Pretty hefty if you ask me…  Pick the right number the first time!
