Microsoft Security Essentials – Memory Usage

So, one full day has passed with MSE on my Windows 7 x64 desktop.  I have been running it along side Trend Micro’s business class antivirus/anti-spyware product..which is a part of their SMB solution called Worry Free Business-Advanced.  I figured I would watch the products throughout the day on my PC which has above average use on a regular basis.  Here are the results….

MSE – Running all day used 6mb usage at its peak.

Trend – Running side by side used  2.6mb at its peak.

More testing will take place over the next few days..but I will keep sharing blurbs here and there.
