Microsoft Security Essentials Beta!

Microsoft has released the Beta version of Microsoft Security Essentials.  I downloaded the x64 bit version for Windows 7 and had it up and running in about 5 minutes.  The download comes in at about 3.73mb for both the 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows.  Once installed MSE does a quick update and then goes on to run a quick scan of the machine.  I will be evaluating this against the corporate version of Trend Micro’s Worry Free Business Security (desktops only) and post results regularly here.  Here are a few screen shots:
