Corsair 128gb SSD vs Corsair 256gb SSD on a Mac Pro!

I have been using and testing the Corsair 256gb SSD (CMFSSD-256GBG2D) for about a week now…see earlier post here.  I was able to secure a Corsair 128gb SSD (Corsair CMFSSD-128GBG1D) for comparison testing.  Both of these drives were tested on a MAC Pro….the details of which are in the first post linked above.  I used AJA System Test as the utility since it was the only free utility I could find for hard drive testing.  This particular review is not as detailed as the earlier one but will detail enough to show that the results are astounding.  One note, the Corsair 128gb is identified by the MAC Pro as a : SAMSUNG MMDOE28G5MPP-0VA – which is probably the underying hardware in this drive.  The 256gb is identified as a Corsair.

The results are actually amazing in that Corsair has delivered on their promise to double the speed of their 256gb Model.  Take a look by clicking on the read link.

For a detailed review check the older post which was about the 256gb Corsair SSD as Compared to a Western Digital Velociraptor 300gb by clicking here.

Without further delay…the results:
