Evernote, finally on the Blackberry!

Evernote

Evernote happens to be my favorite application on all platforms.  I currently use the application on Windows 7 x64, MAC OS X, iPhone 3.0b4, and now finally I can get it on my blackberry.  According to the Evernote Blog the application is available on Blackberry’s App World and is compatible with the following Blacberries:

  • BlackBerry® Bold™
  • BlackBerry® Curve™ 8900 series
  • BlackBerry® Storm™

Blackberry App World should be smart enough to know which device you have and thus show you the application, although it is not showing up for me on my Blackberry 8900 just yet.  Evernote’s blog also says that they will be releasing an update soon that will have support for additional models.

If you dont know what Evernote does then I recommend that you give it a shot, it is available as a FREE application that stores notes in the cloud.  You are able to store images, documents, and notes (naturally).  If you need more storage you are able to purchase an upgrade to the premium version at a yearly cost of $45 or $5 per month; it is a great value and I recommend it to everyone.

**One of my favorite features is that you can send a direct message to Evernote via Twitter and it will store it in your notebook…of course you have to have an account and setup the Twitter integration for the first time.
